Need 30 volunteers to reserve for the afternoon session from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. to pack 1,000 Break Bags. At the same time, we don’t want to go over the number of volunteers assigned to each group as it leads to unsafe conditions and the volunteers do not have fun (we’ve had this happen before and it was horrible).

To ensure that we get enough volunteers (but don’t go over our limit), I need to ask Rotary 8 volunteers to register with us. Once we reach the 30 volunteer limit, then we will close it (if we do not reach 30, then we will open up the positions to the community).

To register, please ask Rotary 8 volunteers to call or email Steve Dunkelberger, EFN’s Community Engagement Coordinator by Friday, November 10 (I will be on vacation). Steve can be reached by email at steved@efoodnet.org or by phone at (253) 584-1040.

Minimum Age: The minimum age to volunteer as an individual at the Repack Project is 16. Youth ages 14-15 can volunteer with a parent or guardian.

Liability Waiver Form: All new volunteers to EFN need to submit a Liability Waiver. Returning volunteers do not need to submit another form unless their information has recently changed. Volunteers age 14-17 need to have the form electronically signed by a parent or guardian. The Liability Waiver can be found here - Liability Waiver
