Installed and Stocked Little Free Libraries

This summer, Rotary Club of Tacoma # 8 participated in a partnered project - Project Child Success to build Little Free Libraries in the Tacoma Salishan Community.
Project Child Success (PCS) is made up of over 90 organizations that are working together to achieve the vision that all Pierce County children thrive in nurturing relationships and environments. Together PCS partners lead networking opportunities for the community, research and data projects, public policy and advocacy efforts, awareness campaigns, and plan shared professional development events.
A group of motivated volunteers are building 8 Little Free Libraries to be placed in the Salishan Housing Community.  Tacoma 8 will install the libraries on October 5, 2017.
Do you live or work near one of these schools and would like to host a Little Free Library in front of your house, apartment, or business? If so, you could become a Little Free Library steward. Click here for information about becoming a steward.
